It is not a conversion. Whether you are here for a week-long contract, a month-long work placement, a family trip to Harry Potter Studios, or a weekend in London, the apartment is set up to work for all of them. We have hosted contractors, NHS staff, council workers, relocating professionals, and families from all over the world. The reason it works for all of them is the same thing guests keep telling us - it feels like a home rather than a holiday let. The kitchen has quartz worktops, an integrated Bosch oven and hob, a full-size dishwasher, and a washer-dryer behind high-gloss soft-close units. We keep it fully stocked so you can cook from your first night - pots, pans, plates, cutlery, cooking oil, spices, a coffee machine with complimentary pods, teas. If you are here for a longer stay, the washer-dryer and fully equipped kitchen mean you can live normally without trips to a launderette or relying on takeaways every night. The living area has a 50-inch Smart TV with Netflix, a comfortable sofa, dining table for four, and board games for screen-free evenings. The dining table doubles as a workspace with a view through the glass doors to the private balcony. Step outside and you will see why guests mention the balcony first in every review - it catches good light and is a genuine highlight of the apartment. Bedroom one has a zip-link bed that joins as a super-king or splits into twins with blackout blind. Bedroom two has a zip-link bed that joins as a king or splits into twins with blackout blinds. Both rooms have freshly ironed hotel-standard linen. Let us know your preferred bed setup before arrival and we will have it ready. For longer stays with colleagues who need separate beds, the twin configuration keeps everyone comfortable. The bathroom has a rain shower with handheld attachment and a heated chrome towel rail. A hairdryer and iron are provided. High-speed WiFi runs throughout at 58 Mbps, and the living room has CAT5 data cables for a hardwired connection if you need reliable video calls or uploads. Double-glazed windows keep things quiet and well insulated. You have full private access to the entire apartment, both bathrooms, kitchen, balcony, and one allocated parking space. There is also a pay-to-use gym in the building if you want to keep up your routine during a longer stay. Self check-in is via a secure key safe with an access code sent before your stay. We also send a short video walkthrough so you know exactly what to expect. Arrive anytime after 3pm and let yourself in - no need to coordinate with anyone. If you are arriving late after a long shift or a delayed flight, that is fine. Free parking for one vehicle is included on a first-come basis. If you need additional parking, Bushey Station car park is right next door. Getting around from here is easy. Bushey Station is a 2-minute walk from the front door with London Overground and West Midlands trains running every 15 minutes. By train: Watford Junction in 2 minutes, Harrow and Wealdstone in 4, London Euston in 19, London Victoria in 33, London Bridge in 46, and Wembley in around 25 minutes. On match days or concert nights at Wembley, the train home is straightforward and you avoid the drive entirely. By car: Warner Bros Studio Tour is about 9 minutes and well signposted. Watford town centre and the Harlequin Shopping Centre is 5 minutes. Cassiobury Park is 9 minutes. TopGolf and Woodside Leisure Park with cinema, bowling, and restaurants are nearby. The Grove Hotel and Spa is about 10 minutes. Aldenham Country Park is 9 minutes. Watford FC's Vicarage Road is close by for match days. The M1 and M25 are easily accessible. Luton Airport is 24 minutes by car, Heathrow 31 minutes. Right on the doorstep you have a convenience store, pharmacy, cafes, and takeaways within a minute's walk. The apartment sits above the local shops on Bushey's high street so you will not need to drive for day-to-day basics. For longer stays this matters more than you would think. We are available by message throughout your stay and typically respond within the hour. For anything urgent, we can also be reached by phone. We do not visit the property during your stay unless you ask us to or there is a maintenance issue that needs attention. For guests staying a week or longer, we check in by message to make sure everything is working well and to see if you need anything restocked. The apartment is fully self-contained so most guests settle in and do not need us at all, but we are always there if you do. Check-in is from 3pm via a secure key safe. Full instructions and a video walkthrough are sent before arrival. Checkout is by 11am - just leave and go, no complicated cleaning routine required. Free parking for one vehicle is included on a first-come, first-served basis. Cars are left at the guest's own risk. Additional parking is available at Bushey Station car park next door. The default bed configuration is singles. If you would like beds joined as super-king or king, let us know in advance and we will arrange it before you arrive. Early check-in and late checkout can sometimes be arranged depending on our calendar. Just ask and we will do what we can. A few things we provide that you might not expect: complimentary coffee pods and tea, cooking basics like oil and spices, bathroom toiletries, a hairdryer, and an iron. High chair, travel cot, and children's utensils are available on request for families. If you are staying a week or longer, we offer discounted rates. For monthly stays, get in touch directly and we will put together a package that works. We have had guests stay anywhere from one night to several months and the apartment handles both equally well. The apartment is on Bushey's high street above the local shops. You get the convenience of everything on your doorstep and it is generally quiet, but you will hear some daytime street activity as you would expect from a high street location.
